Hi there! I'm Melissa Pierce aka Delerias.  I'm the soul creator of the comic Shurale as well as an illustrator and graphic designer.  I'm in folklore from around the world.   I live with my husband Johs Pierce in beautiful Saint Matthews, South Carolina with our bright yellow cat Sunny.  We are currently renovating a bus to live the camper lifestyle.

A little bit about Shurale,  it was inspired by Tatarstan folklore.  With their spunky and alluring personalities, I was inspired to create a contemporary story with traditional storytelling in comic format which has been a dream of mine. Check it out at the shop!

Illustrations have been my life's dream. I've always wanted to have a fantasy artbook that I made. Now I'm doing comics, coloring books  along with other items too. 

Aside from that I've been working with photoshop for 20 years, I've been a caricaturist, graphic designer, color corrector, photomanipulator/restorer and photographer on top of that. It's been a great adventure thus far. I'm excited to continue it through conventions and shows along the south east.
